KP Assembly Calls for Inquiry Into Alleged Incident Involving CM Sohail Afridi
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday adopted a resolution moved by Law Minister Aftab Alam, calling for an inquiry into an alleged incident in Lahore involving Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The resolution demanded a transparent investigation and urged the review of available video footage, CCTV recordings, and other relevant evidence. It also called for appropriate legal or departmental action if the inquiry established any violation of law or misuse of authority.
The House emphasized the need to maintain cordial inter-provincial relations and uphold the principles of constitutional federalism.
