Government Taking Steps To Resolve Issues Of Legal Fraternity: Law Minister

Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, stated on Tuesday that the government is taking all possible measures to address the issues faced by the legal fraternity. He highlighted the crucial role lawyers play in promoting the rule of law and ensuring access to justice.

Various delegations of lawyers from Layyah, Mianwali, Piplan, and other regions met with Senator Tarar at the Ministry of Law and Justice. During these meetings, matters concerning the legal fraternity and issues related to the law and justice sector were discussed.

The delegations included prominent legal figures such as:

  • Syed Ghazanfar Abbas Bukhari, Advocate High Court and Member Punjab Bar Council from Layyah
  • Malik Subah Sadiq Awan, Advocate and Member Punjab Bar Council from Mianwali
  • Abdul Sattar Alvi, Advocate High Court and former President District Bar Association Layyah
  • Sardar Sami Ullah Khan, Advocate and former President Piplan Bar
  • Sheikh Sajaad Ahmad, Advocate
  • Malik Tamoor Sultan Awan, Advocate
  • Malik Muhammad Zahid, Advocate, and others.

Lawyers apprised the minister of their concerns and discussed potential solutions. Senator Tarar actively listened to their points and engaged in discussions regarding these matters with the delegations.

He expressed appreciation for the contributions of the legal fraternity, emphasizing their significant role in strengthening the rule of law and ensuring access to justice. The minister assured that the government is committed to resolving the issues faced by lawyers.
