Doctors, medical stores and teachers are on strike, according to Azma Bukhari. She argues that while Sohail Afridi and his cabinet have witnessed Lahore's development, they show no interest in addressing the issues within their own province—Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Bukhari highlights the ongoing strikes by young doctors in Dera Ismail Khan and the Medical Stores Association's strike in KP. Patients are suffering as staff at government hospitals are protesting, and the situation is exacerbated by the strike at Gomal University. She claims that effectively, KP has been without a functioning government for two days.
Azma Bukhari questions Sohail Afridi's presence in Lahore, suggesting that if he chooses to sit on the pavement there, it could be seen as a conspiracy against KP. She emphasizes the province's struggles with incompetence, ineptitude, and corruption, which she believes have left it vulnerable to thieves. Furthermore, she criticizes the chief minister's focus on a prisoner in Adiala Jail rather than addressing his people's needs.
