Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi on High Alert Amid Rainfall

Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi has been put on high alert amid recent rains in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Personnel have been deployed around Nullah Lai and other low-lying areas to respond to any emergency.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, teams have been stationed in Kattarian, Gawalmandi, and other vulnerable areas, and will remain on duty throughout the rainy spell. Rescue officials have urged citizens to exercise extreme caution during the monsoon season.
Parents have been advised to keep children away from Nullah Lai and electricity poles during rainfall. Citizens are also cautioned to drive at reduced speeds in rain, move to safer locations before urban flooding, and avoid standing under weak or dilapidated roofs. People have been urged to steer clear of crossing rivers and nullahs during heavy rainfall.
In view of the risk of intense rainfall and cloudbursts, citizens have also been advised against visiting tourist destinations during severe weather. Rescue 1122 has urged citizens to immediately call their helpline (1122) in case of any emergency.
