Netflix's 'This Summer Will Be Different' Cast Expansion: Malin Akerman, Nadine Bhabha, Megan Follows, and Matias Lucas Join the Ensemble
Netflix Canada's Adaptation of Carley Fortune's Novel
Malin Akerman, Nadine Bhabha, Megan Follows, and Matias Lucas have been added to Netflix's upcoming series adaptation of This Summer Will Be Different.
The 10-episode show, based on Carley Fortune's popular romance novel, stars Sophie Nélisse as Lucy Ashby. Francesca Reale and Roby Attal also join the cast as Bridget Clark and Felix Clark, respectively.

With its setting on Prince Edward Island, Anne of Green Gables is a recurring theme in the source material. Interestingly, Megan Follows played Annie Shirley in a 1985 Canadian adaptation of the novel.
This cast expansion brings together actors from Heated Rivalry, with Sophie Nélisse and Nadine Bhabha reuniting for this project.
